Management Team

Although a very young company IPC is owned and operated by 2 individuals with over 40 years in the photo industry. In addition to the photo industry our management team is experienced in the retail industry, implementation of early digital photo systems and last but least software development and customer service.

Shant Balayan Founder and President Has been in the photo trade for over thirty years first as an executive with Kodak, owner of large wholesale photo labs in Québec and since 1990 owner of a Québec retail chain of 35 stores. After selling the retail stores Shant has been instrumental in the development of IPC and its "client above all philosophy".

François Parent Founder and Vice-President François is 30 years old, he is the smart guy. He has been in the Photo trade as Director of New Technologies with a major retail chain in Québec, Director of New Banners and Marketing with another major retailer, ERP Consultant to a software development company specialized in "Enterprise Management Software". His experience with web technologies are crucial to the development of our applications.
