Launching of the IPC Dual base Photo Transfer Application

March 12, 2004 – IPC Today launched its new Dual base Online Photo transfer Application. This new application offered in both English and French is a worldwide first by IPC to overcome the major difficulties currently experienced by consumers with client or web based photo transfer technologies.

IPC offers its client/partners co-branded online photo transfer applications enabling them to offer their consumers the ability to upload, edit and order digital photos over the web. Online photos are printed at the client/partner’s chosen photo-lab or particular photo store equipped with a digital lab.

With this new technology consumers who are hesitant in loading an application inside their computer will be able to benefit from the high speed and all the other advantages of a client based application when uploading their photos over the Web. Unlike Web based photo transfer applications consumers do not have to wait before being able to proceed with their orders. This new technology makes uploading much faster as all files are only uploaded to the Web once the order is complete.
